Tortis solutions are available for application at our Spring Hope or Wilmington, NC facilities or on location with our mobile applications service. Tortis utilizes 28,000 sq/ft Climate-controlled finishing facility with surface preparation capabilities of SSPC-SP-1 through SSPC-SP-10.

Polyurea – How It Can Be Used
Polyurea is a type of elastomer that is derived from the reaction product of an isocyanate component and a synthetic resin blend component through step-growth polymerization. It has a nearly endless applicable uses.

What is Polyurea?
Polyurea is an instant set membrane spray-on coating with a high abrasion resistance, high chemical resistance, excellent durability, and excellent flexibility. Polyurea functions as a high quality protective coating membrane providing excellent protection for concrete surfaces from water and chemical attack and is seamless and fully adhered to the substrate it is applied to so no water or debris can get behind the coating.
